FAQ

Should Sunflower Liposomes™ be refrigerated?

Yes, Sunflower Liposomes are crafted with natural preservatives such as vitamin C and ethanol (grain alcohol), making refrigeration advisable. Alternatively, you can store them in a cool, dry, and dark place, away from direct sunlight, but refrigeration extends their freshness.

Sunflower Liposomes, featuring natural preservatives, are considered fresh products. Each label specifies a 'best if used by' date, typically 90 days from the production date, ensuring product freshness. Once opened, it's best to keep them in the fridge and consume within 30 to 90 days to maintain their peak freshness. Our products have undergone microbiological testing by an independent laboratory, confirming their safety for use within one year from the production date.

When is the best time to take Sunflower Liposomes™?

While there isn't a strict time requirement for taking these products, our suggestion is to incorporate them into your morning and early afternoon routine. Consuming them too late in the evening may lead to an energy boost that could disrupt your regular sleep pattern. Additionally, we advise taking them on an empty stomach for the most efficient and rapid absorption into the bloodstream.

What is the daily recommended intake of Sunflower Liposomes™?

The suggested daily dosage for each Sunflower Liposomes™ product is a teaspoon to be consumed 1 to 2 times a day. If you're considering a dosage exceeding these recommendations, we recommend consulting with your healthcare practitioner beforehand.

Please be aware that Sunflower Liposomes products are not designed to prevent, cure, or treat any specific medical condition or disease. If you are dealing with a health issue, we recommend seeking guidance from a healthcare practitioner who specializes in advanced and alternative medicine.

Is it advisable to consume Sunflower Liposomes™ products with cold beverages?

To optimize their effectiveness, we suggest consuming the product with a cool beverage instead. We advise against mixing any Sunflower Liposomes™ products with hot beverages.

Can I blend liposomes in a food processor or blender?

Blending liposomes in a food processor or blender is generally not recommended. Liposomal supplements are designed to protect and deliver their contents intact to the bloodstream, and blending them can disrupt the liposomal structure and potentially reduce their effectiveness. The mechanical action of blending can break down the liposomes, leading to a loss of their protective properties.

Are there any supplements or medications that should not be taken with Sunflower Liposomes™ products?

There are certain supplements and medications that may interact with liposomal products, potentially affecting their absorption or efficacy. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional or pharmacist before combining liposomal products with other supplements or medications.

Sunflower Liposomes™ products feature high-potency nutrients that are generally compatible with common dietary supplements when consumed by individuals in good health. However, if you are already using dietary supplements under the supervision of a healthcare provider, we advise you to consult your physician before incorporating Sunflower Liposomes™ supplements into your regimen.

Is it acceptable to use multiple Sunflower Liposomes™ products simultaneously?

Absolutely, you can take multiple Sunflower Liposomes™ products together. However, since each bottle contains vitamin C, for optimal vitamin C absorption, we suggest consuming them at different times to maximize your vitamin C intake.

What causes Sunflower Liposomes™ products to resist dissolution in water?

This inherent insolubility is the key factor that grants liposomes their resistance to stomach acids and bile salts, facilitating their rapid entry into the bloodstream and allowing them to effortlessly traverse cell membranes. This, in turn, ensures the efficient and secure delivery of nutrients to their designated target.

What is the reason behind the inclusion of preservatives in Sunflower Liposomes™ products?

Preservatives are included in our products to inhibit the growth of potentially harmful bacteria and mold. We only use natural preservatives such as vitamin C and ethanol and use only the minimal amount required to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.

Why Sunflower Liposomes™ use alcohol as natural preservative?

A tiny quantity of alcohol is incorporated into our products to safeguard against the growth of harmful bacteria and mold. Each dose contains approximately 0.6 ml of high-quality natural grade ethanol (grain alcohol) for natural preservation.  It's important to note that small quantities of ethanol in the bloodstream are metabolized rapidly, in contrast to the larger amounts typically ingested when consuming alcoholic beverages.

If you prefer not to consume the alcohol in the packet, we recommend exposing the contents to open air for 30 minutes. This will facilitate the evaporation of the majority of the alcohol. Based on testing, it typically takes approximately 1-1.5 hours for the complete removal of alcohol.

Why we use Sunflower Lecithin in Sunflower Liposomes products?

We use Premium Sunflower Lecithin in our products which is GMO-Free by EU Law. Sunflower lecithin is organic, non-GMO, non-allergenic, and considered a safer alternative to soy lecithin.

Can pregnant and/or breastfeeding women safely use Sunflower Liposomes products?

Although Sunflower Liposomes products contain essential nutrients important for both maternal and infant health, we strongly advise pregnant and breastfeeding women to seek guidance from their healthcare provider before incorporating any Sunflower Liposomes supplements into their routine.

Is it advisable to seek medical advice before using Sunflower Liposomes™ products?

We recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before initiating any dietary, exercise, or supplement regimen, prior to starting any medications, or if you have concerns about your health.

We also recommend to consult your physician before embarking on a supplementation program containing any form of vitamin C if you have conditions such as hemochromatosis, any type of hemolytic anemia, G6PD deficiency, known kidney insufficiency or failure, or if you are currently taking anticoagulants like warfarin (Coumadin).

Can children safely use Sunflower Liposomes™ products?

Liposomal vitamins can be used by children, but it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before giving any supplements to children, including liposomal vitamins. The appropriate dosage and specific supplements recommended may vary depending on a child's age, health status, and dietary intake. Additionally, it's crucial to ensure that any supplements given to children are formulated and dosed appropriately for their age and nutritional needs. The guidance of a healthcare provider can help determine whether and how liposomal vitamins may be beneficial for a child.
